| As part of the ongoing visits to Kingstonian FC games programme, the U13 Royals were invited to Kingsmeadow last week to meet the senior team before their league match against Dover Athletic. Many thanks to Alan Dowson and the players for showing the boys a most enjoyable day, and we look forward to seeing them and players from across the youth setup at future matches. |

Kingstonian Youth U13 have been confirmed as being 1 of 12 teams competing in the 2006/2007 season Premier Elite, proudly joining the ever growing number of Kingstonian Youth sides competing at the highest level of the Surrey Youth & U21 league (formerly West Surrey Youth League). | 1 August 2006 - The squad |
We are pleased to have finalised the new U13's squad for the coming season. The new season, now the team's 3rd together has seen us promoted to the Premier Elite in as many years, 1 earlier than expected. Although at times in 2005/2006 the squad's credentials to play in the Premier Elite were seriously questioned, having now reached the highest level our aim is to stay there for the long term and so now the team have a huge task during pre-season.
Based on the team's final league position of 3rd and our record of P22 W14, D3, L5, F70, A34, +36, Pts 45 in the Premier Division, the team go into the new season as big underdogs. However having assembled and confirmed our squad by late June the boys have been training hard, playing hard and practising repeatedly together for 2 months already, giving us a major advantage over our rivals to prepare for the massive step up in standard. I am delighted with my squad and am confident we will be the surprise package of the division, which we rightly feel we can be. |
